OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE

Responsible for the effective development, management and penetration of designated areas and accounts consistent with targeted sales goals. Responsible for the management, training and effectiveness of all district staff. Responsible for 100% satisfaction on compliance based activities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Grows sales at existing lottery retailers by selling new products/promotions; properly merchandizing and B2B and B2C Relationship Building.
 Recruits new lottery retailers and grows sales at existing lottery retailers
 Makes visits to retailers to ensure a united brand oriented professional presence at every lottery retailer
 Develops and effectively executes comprehensive account acquisition/penetration plans and strategies.
 Introduces new games and systems enhancements to retailers.
 Contributes to license renewals by assisting with Sales and Marketing knowledge and involvement.
 Coordinates corporate and support services within assigned accounts.
 Ensures compliance with established lottery and company policies and procedures.
 Formulates a yearly business plan for assigned territory.
 Develops, implements and evaluates sales promotions with individual retail outlets.
 Motivates retailers to participate in and support promotions.
 Prioritizes assignments, creates sound plans, and schedules.
 Conducts sales meetings and informs the sales force of new developments in products and policies.
 Ensures that assigned Sales Representatives meet annual sales goals.
 Oversees performance reviews and corrective actions.

High– Major training and continued coaching. Ensuring that sales goals are met by sales staff for assigned territory.

GENERAL

Understanding territory covered in order to ensure that the appropriate lottery games are being sold.

Poor customer service to retailers could result in the loss of a customer and revenue.
Must closely adhere to lottery policies to ensure that the company is not fined for non-compliance.

Frequent – Distribution Manager, Warehouse Manager, Field Service Technicians, Marketing and Key Account representatives

Frequent – Must be able to influence and communicate effectively with lottery personnel and lottery retailers

 Physical (% time: travel, operating machinery, environmental etc.)
 Travel with in assigned territory almost 100% of time worked.
 Must have a driver’s license, be able to perform routine vehicle maintenance and understand vehicle reporting requirements.
 Stay overnight for sales and project meetings.
Job Requirements EDUCATION

 Minimum education
Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales/marketing or related field or equivalent experience

 Years Experience
4 – 6 years of related sales experience
